In everyday life, we talk about different standard formats, e.g. A-format and Euro pallet format. These are supposed to make it easier to store and transport goods with the least possible volume. I have been so bold that I have \u2039flirted\u203a with this in the hope of being able to place what I have on a smaller area or with less volume. There are many such golden rules in art too, e.g. \u2039The golden ratio\u203a and \u2039Golden rectangle\u203a.
