‹From the beginning to the end›, detail, 2018, approx. 40x35x10 cm, circular knit thread, wooden needles, knitted up to a shape.

This textile is made of a long circular knit thread with a slight dye. Wooden needles are threaded into the circular knitting thread. The long continuous ‘thread’ is then knitted into a shape. A long stick in one end of the thread is threaded through the top stitches and acts as a suspension rod. Two pins are attached to the wall at the back to hang the textile on. The thread is knitted, the textile is knitted … The thread is manipulated with the threaded wooden stick and gives shape to the textile … Here has she done with the ‘thread’ as one often does with thread; knit with it.
