A little form, 2014

Textile artworks often have a kind of stiffen … It may be that it hangs on a body or a rod in the upper edge. I have often been a little irritated at this supplement and looked on them that can come with its object and place it on a table or floor and it stands by itself. This has led me over the three-dimensional object and the use of other materials as an integral part of the work. I have subtracted fabric around the plates, made and subtracted this textile, textile object filled with wood wool and used textile material that is rigid in itself.

Thread is like a snake and will control expression if I shape it in different ways. I imagine this thread as a basis for various works – both temporary and exact artworks. By knitting or tying the thread with large loops I will be able to disassemble it and knit it again with a new recipe … – and I can give it different contents in different situations or places.
