This is a work which was chosen for the exhibition ‹kunstSF 2012› in Sogn og Fjordane Art Museum, Førde, Norway. In the catalog write the curator about my work:
›‹Audgunn Naustdal Holsen does not openly express any specific content in her ‹Trådknyting› (‹Thread Knotting›), but the delicate form and process-oriented aspects can give associations to ways of coping with grief. Holsen makes three-dimensional knots with stiff canvas threads, and the many linked threads are reminiscent of networks of cells or fragile structures spun by a spider. “Trådknyting” is about its own meditative process, and about making use of even the smallest leftover bits. It has a heartfelt and vulnerable quality, and will elicit extremely individual and personal interpretations from the viewers›‹
