I have always been inspired by my own resent past and things that has happened to me. I wanted some dress material, but never owned a lot of dresses myself – even though I always wanted dresses. When I try dresses on I tend to think they don’t suit me. My mother, on the other hand, always wore dresses. A lot of them were incredible – and with a matching curtain from the same shop. The materials are starched, cut into circles and glued directly on to the wall.
Technique/material: dress material, starch and glue.
