This is part of a project I have worked with for some time, especially aimed at public art. I have made both square wall cushions and other forms (circle). As public art it can work as sound absorbing object in the room / on walls. Each cushion is composed of a fibreboard that is padded and drawn with a under cover. The outer fabrics are wool jersey and applied liquid colour. The dye is then manipulated in the drying process. In addition, I added embroidery (satin stitch) that supports the expression that has formed in the surface. Each plate is mounted to gypsum walls with pins that have glue in the stapling hole.
Technique and materials: Fibreboard, quilted and drawn with colored wool jersey.
Measures: à 35×35 cm x 12 and 5 pillows
